Graffiti in Barranquilla

As many of us probably know, graffiti is not only a life-style (Is an urban movement, that promote the revolutionary ideas and the revolt) but also it´s a way to express thoughts, beliefs, ideas and feelings. Graffiti is a way to paint abstract texts in walls with freedom, every graffiti is painted differently and express an unique message, it is characterized for being highly creative and for being an enormous attraction to the eye. Usually, graffiti is made in open and public spaces.
In Barranquilla (Colombia), it`s highly used graffiti as a way of expression, which makes it usual to see many of this graffiti in almost every corner. In fact, recently all around the country has been formed a group called "Acción Poética" (this is an latinamerican movement but recently came to Colombia), this group is not a common or traditional group of graffiti, but they also want to express an idea and to promote the habits of reading, what this group is doing is writting quotes that they read or by themselves create, to promote the reading and to stop the violence, some of the major representantives communities of "Acción Poética" in Colombia are in Bogotá, Neiva and Cali, just by name a few.

How Have Volleyball Shaped My Own Culture?

For me, volleyball represented a very important part of my life because when I was practicing it I learned how to be responsible and take conscience about my body and my force, it also taught me how to commit with myself to reach something that I want, also taught me that sports helps to low the stress and anger, at the same time that I was taking care of my health both physical and mental, in a way for me play volleyball was a way to recognize what were my limits and what were my strenghts.
I love Volleyball! I consider that playing it is a way to love exercise.
